Washing Wool and Cashmere

Before I start knitting my own sweaters, I threw everything into a washing machine with normal detergent and just if there was a sweater that I liked more than others, or to wash husband's sweater (you know, people are demanding!), Put liquid detergent for wool and delicate.
but, but ...

Once I started to knit, an examination of conscience to me are just done.
I confess that sometime I still use in the washing machine with my beautiful wool program, but mainly for washing sweaters made by me, I converted myself to hand washing, just like my friend Tibisay.

Then I also began to query what products to use and the best methods to preserve my knitting.
It 'was a most fortuitous meeting with the products of The Laundress.
In the city opened a new store, wonderful living room of the beauty and courtesy, the owners could I have known and appreciated for many years in other urban shop, and when I discovered that together they opened this store I went to visit them. And so it was thare that Constanza has told me about The Laudress, which is also becoming very fashionable in fact I even read about them on Marie Claire, has lines dedicated to the washing of wool, cashmere, cotton, etc.. fibers in general, and also has a number of items to preserve and care our beloved hand knitted sweaters.

I tried the line Wool & Cashmere Shampoo, which is fine for both hand and machine washing, that has a delicate scent of cedar and is a natural product that does not use sulfates, is biodegradable, non-toxic and free of allergens .
I washed one of my sweaters and I must say that the yield is high, the fibers back to life and the head is very soft. On their site you can also find a video demonstration of how to wash a cashmere sweater, but I think you already know, but it was fun:)
In the series of articles I found the wonderful Sweater Stone for anti-pilling, yeah! For months I wanted to order it after reading the praises of Ysolda blog, but she recommended the site I had never been answered, and was not previously available in Europe. Constanza reordered it and now I can not wait to have mine!
So my brave, go to being a washerwomen! (Back pain permitting, I'm KO at the moment):))
